We, Shree Amirtha College of Education have a grievance cell led by the council of staff members. We are keen in catering to the needs of student-folk. Student complaints are addressed to the Head who then passes it on to the staff council. Serious issues are discussed in the staff meetings and the rest are sorted out in an informal manner. Student feedback about teachers and teaching is collected every month and forms the basis for quality improvement. However, under special circumstances the College Council sets up special bodies to resolve serious issues that affect students and college.
The Principal is the appellate authority of the institution and all employee grievances received by the Principal through the College suggestion box / written feedback and are placed before the College Council which decides upon the issue based on facts. The minutes of the College Council are an authentic record of all such grievance redressal. Student grievances are discussed and settled in an amicable way and there has not been any serious instance of students’ dissatisfaction in the institution.
The Grievance Redressal Cell of Shree Amirtha College of Education has the below given staff members for the academic year 2015 – 2016.
